To complete our team, we are looking for a production technician to optimize cabinet production and fabrication.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read and interpret designer and architectural plans

  • Execute production operations using Cabinet Vision software

  • Ensure the feasibility of machining requests

  • Develop shop and technical drawing plans

  • Prepare lists for ordering materials

  • Work in direct collaboration with the CNC operator

  • Programming of various materials and fabrication techniques

  • Daily updates of the database – materials, hardware, doors

  • Contribute the continuous improvement of shop productivity

  • Ensure production efficiency in the shop

  • Participate in the effective operation of the CNC machining center

  • Support the estimation team

  • Other tasks related to the effective operation of Cabinet Vision

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • DEP in carpentry/cabinetmaking and/or experience in construction and drawing

  • Excellent knowledge of computing, programming and technical software

  • Strong language skills in English and French (oral and written)

  • Experience in cabinet fabrication is an asset

  • Experience with Cabinet Vision software is an asset

  • Experience with Biesseworks software is an asset
